An independent reading list, kept by hand.
Dispatch93 is an atlas-gazette: a hand-filed record of working websites, organised by territory and kept by a small editorial bureau. At present the atlas holds 834 addresses across 22 named sections — from Wagers & Card Rooms in the east to Wayfaring & Lodging along the western reaches. Each entry has been reviewed by a correspondent and carries a short description drawn from the site's own published material.
The atlas does not rank, score or endorse. An address is either in the file or it is not. The bureau's standard for inclusion is modest: the site must be reachable, it must publish its own terms, and the description it carries must read as an honest account of what the site does. Addresses that go dark or materially change character are removed at the next update without notice.
Submission is free and is expected to remain so. A correspondent reads every filed URL before it enters the atlas. There is no paid placement, no sponsored section and no advertising in the edition. The bureau has no interest in anything except keeping the file accurate and the territories current.
The atlas was opened on a simple conviction: the open web holds a great many useful, honest and interesting addresses that no algorithm surfaces on the first page of results. Dispatch93 is the bureau's attempt to chart them. Readers are welcome to consult the atlas without registration; if you encounter an address that has gone dark or carries a description that no longer holds, the bureau welcomes a note through the submission form.
